Family ski area

In the Berwang-Bichlbach ski area, families with children and beginners are in their element here. Almost all slopes are blue and nice and wide. Parents can safely leave their children skiing alone for a while because there are hardly any deep chasms or dangerous parts. There is a free magic carpet for children to learn to ski and a ski school that offers ski lessons for children from the age of three. Grandparents can also come along because in Berwang there are enough winter hiking trails, a nice toboggan run and lovely terraces. On Thursday you can ski and toboggan in the evening and on Tuesday evening there is a ski show, provided by the ski school and locals. More information about ski lessons can be found on the website of Skischool Berwang .

Night skiing

The night ski slope in Berwang is a great experience in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena - and the night toboggan run is also a real highlight for young and old. Every Thursday evening the slope next to the Egghof Sun jet is open from 17:30-20:45.

Ski show

Every Tuesday evening there is the well-known Berwang Ski Show, this varied show starts at 8:30 PM and is fun for the whole family, ending with spectacular fireworks!

Cross-country skiing

Berwang has 3 routes of 12 km in total, but in the entire Zugspitze Arena there are 131 km of trails. Surrounded by majestic peaks and breathtaking views, Berwang is an ideal destination for both beginners and experienced cross-country skiers.

Walking

Berwang combines adventure and relaxation in an untouched winter environment. Whether you choose a short walk or a longer hike, snow walking here is a unique experience.

The well-maintained winter hiking trails lead you through fairytale forests and over glistening snowfields. The path to the Almkopf is recommended, which rewards you with a panoramic view of the surrounding mountain peaks. For a relaxing walk, the route around Berwanger Moos is perfect; a flat path that winds through open fields and forests.

During your walk you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the Alps. Many routes are also accessible for families (also with a pram) and novice hikers. Along the way you will come across cozy mountain huts where you can warm up with a cup of steaming hot chocolate.
