Family ski area
In the Berwang‑Bichlbach ski area, families with children and beginner winter sports enthusiasts are right at home. Almost all pistes are blue and nicely wide. Parents can leave their children to ski alone with peace of mind because deep ravines and dangerous sections are almost non‑existent. There is a free magic carpet for children to learn to ski and a ski school that offers ski lessons for children from three years old. Grandparents can also join, because in Berwang there are plenty of winter walking paths, a fun toboggan run and lovely terraces. On Thursday you can ski and sled in the evening and on Tuesday evening there is the ski show, organised by the ski school and local residents. More information about ski lessons can be found on the website of Skischule Berwang.

The well‑maintained winter walking paths lead you through fairy‑tale forests and over glittering snowfields. The recommended path is to the Almkopf, which rewards you with a panoramic view of the surrounding peaks. For a relaxing walk the route around Berwanger Moos is perfect; a flat path that winds through open fields and forests.
During your walk you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the Alps. Many routes are also accessible for families (even with a stroller) and beginner walkers. Along the way you will encounter cozy mountain huts where you can warm up with a cup of steaming chocolate. See here the various winter walking paths in Berwang.
